Creating the Message Rule/Single IP Address

To allow or whitelist an IP address or IP range, a Message Rule must be created.

  1. Head to the Mailproctector Console

  2. Pick the domain, user, or reseller level to apply the message rule to.

  3. From the desired location in the Console, go to Filtering and scroll down to the Message rules section.

  4. Enter a name for the rule and click on the Create button.

  5. Message rule creation opens the Criteria settings first. Scroll down to the Source IP section.

  6. Type in the IP Address: 149.72.222.44, 149.72.222.44/24 and press Enter. The IP address will become a blue criteria item.

  7. Scroll back to the top of the page and click on Actions.

  8. Find the Never hold the message for review (inbound only) option and enable the action.

  9. Scroll to the top of the page and click the back arrow to view the list of Message rules.

  10. Find the rule you created in the rules list and enable it by clicking the switch icon.

Managing Allow List for Domains:

  1. Navigate to Mailprotector console at https://emailservice.io

  2. Go to the desired level you'd like to manage (Reseller, customer, domain, group, or individual user)

  3. Select the "Filtering" tab

  4. Select "View" next to Allow rules section

  5. Add urgentalarms.com, urgentmailer.com, hacware.com to the list.
